About Chris Craig

Chris is a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer and has worked in the Water Industry since 2006. Chris has worked on a number of domestic and international major infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects in the water and waste water sector. He is responsible for production of calculations, creating mechanical work-packages, drawings, WIMES documents and schedules outlining the scope of work for the Contractor and has a QA role as checker/approver for the mechanical team. Chris has a key role pricing mechanical input as part of the bids and proposals team and is an experienced project manager. He has mentored and line managed a team of mechanical engineers. Chris has been involved in a number of projects requiring knowledge of Water-Hammer theory and has experience using the computer modelling program AFT Impulse to model the effects of surge on a rising main. He has a good knowledge of the requirements the DSEAR regulations and applies this knowledge in his designs.
