About Chris Daffin

I’ve spent over 20 years in recruitment, specialising in London’s insurance and finance sectors, connecting the right people with the right roles. Before that, I had over a decade of exposure on the LIFFE market, initially in the back office before becoming a trader in volatile markets. Later, I founded Daffin Kirbyshire Associates to tackle recruitment in a totally different way. A new approach with no automated messages, no generic outreach – just a genuine, honest and personal approach to help candidates progress in their field. Trust, consistency and a good sense of humour go a long way in this business. I bring all three. I thrive on building long-term relationships with candidates and clients alike. Seeing someone I placed years ago flourish in their career (and still drop me the odd message now and then) is what keeps me going! If you’re looking for a recruiter who actually listens and isn’t just here for the quick win, let’s talk. Because in recruitment, like in life, success is not just about showing up – it’s about making connections that last.
