About Chris Derochie

I am an accomplished animation supervisor and director with over 40 years of experience in the animation industry. From my early days in traditional hand-drawn animation to cutting-edge digital and VFX projects, I have led teams and delivered award-winning animation for a variety of projects like the Peanuts specials, Horizon: Zero Dawn, District 9, The Thing, Stargate, A Goofy Movie and more. I provide voice talent for various forms of media, specializing in animation, narration and audiobooks. My animation experience helps me to bring my creativity, expression, and range to every project. Additionally, I teach and mentor aspiring animators at Okanagan College, where I help develop and deliver a world-class animation program. I love sharing my knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm for animation with others.
