About Chris Destro

My professional passion is to engender meaningful discussions and conversations that enable strategic engagement. Every success I’ve ever had—at its root—has always been about relationships. The ability to network for them; cultivate and sustain them over time. Once trust is built, doors are opened; new ideas are introduced and exchanged. As a leader in the Molecular Diagnostics and Medical Device sectors for more than 20 years, I have been able to consistently negotiate nationwide and global, multi-million-dollar enterprise agreements across multi-billion dollar ecosystems; build and expand formidable distribution networks; help define how a business and its products are introduced to the market. I listen with intensity. I view people as any organization’s greatest assets, and help those with less experience make contributions, grow, and advance. The most fulfilling and exciting of these experiences have been in startup situations—determining how to amplify the story a business is trying to tell; helping guide an organization from nascent phases through maturity, industry significance, and beyond. As President and Board member with Atlas Genomics, I have helped a burgeoning Molecular Diagnostics company realize exponential growth and expansion over the past 10 years to Women’s Health, Covid-19, Cardiovascular, Stem Cell Analysis, and Cytogenetics markets—while contributing diverse research supporting Biotechnology companies nationwide. Some additional examples of career success have agreements with Washington State Departments of Health and Corrections to become one of five Covid-19 provider labs statewide; garnering $55M+ 2020-2022 (Atlas an agreement with Henry Schein Medical to establish Schein as provider of the Atlas menu of tests through a national footprint of 600+ sales professionals (Atlas with United Healthcare through initial resistance to land a pivotal commercial distribution agreement, covering 11 states and 25-million customers—significantly improving claims adjudication rates and cash flow (Atlas paired Sales with Contracts teams to aggressively drive sales. Revenue growth was to $1.9M, a 7,880%+ increase, 2014-2015 alone (Atossa senior-level relationships with national GPO partners, distribution partners, and enterprise health systems, and was chosen for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Leadership Bench… I welcome contact through LinkedIn.
