About Chris Devine

I’m a Senior Proposal Manager at Covance, a CRO whose mission is to improve health and improve lives. I manage the development of Covance’s proposals by coordinating the efforts of global teams including sales personnel, subject matter experts and pricing analysists to produce timely, high quality deliverables. I am proud to have contributed to the successful completion of over 340 proposals for contact center hubs, HEOR consulting, phase IV trials, and regulatory strategy and submission projects. Not only is the work engaging, but also rewarding for our teams to see the business grow as the result of successful bids. Prior to joining the proposals team, I worked in various operations roles in our Market Access contact center supporting a variety of products in therapeutic areas including cardiology, immunology, nephrology, rare disease, and urology. As a regional contact, I partnered with our clients to navigate complex access and reimbursement challenges and was fortunate to have a direct role in expediting medication shipments to patients by ensuring all necessary authorizations were in place between payers and specialty pharmacies. I’m truly passionate about my work in supporting services that improve the health of patients. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, my favorite part is collaborating with others to bring to bear different areas of expertise to formulate strategic solutions to meet our clients’ needs. I have an MBA from Johns Hopkins and a BS from Virginia Tech.
