It's a tale of two careers. Career #1 started out in early '90s in the Chicago suburbs as a newspaper sports reporter and sports magazine designer, shifted to Pittsburgh to work a metro daily newspaper sports copy desk and design, added motorsports reporting and outdoors section coordinating, went back to magazines as editor and designer in suburban Chicago and increased the motorsports reporting at the same time. That all led to Career #2, shifting to Charlotte and into motorsports PR work in 2004 with a brief stint back in the motorsports journalism side of the business before returning to motorsports PR and Marketing. Add three incredibly active kids, several racing go-karts, one amazing wife and that's pretty much my deal. Oh, and I've survived eight heavy rounds of chemo to knock out non-Hodgkins lymphoma and one massive pulmonary embolism. I feel indestructible at this point.
