About Chris Eloff
My professional career started in Adventure Education and Experiential Learning where I facilitated numerous Team Building courses using Outdoor Adventure Activities as a medium. I relocated to the United Kingdom where I taught Technology, Computers (Gr7-Gr11) and Product Design (A-Level) for 10 years. On my return to South Africa I started teaching at a Special Needs School where I am still currently employed as the elearning manager. During my 16 years of teaching I have been involved in numerous e-learning initiatives and curriculum development. I am currently teaching Computer Applications Technology to the FET Phase. My passion is e-learning and with an inquisitive mind I am always exploring new ways of presenting the curriculum in exciting online ways. I am part of the Resource Centre at the school and are actively involved in staff development where I present workshops on all things e-learning. Currently I am developing myself further to become an online Microsoft Facilitator and I am looking forward to this new chapter in my professional life.
