Currently Head of Proteomics Core Facility using in vitro and in vivo systems to study protein function and the mechanisms by which mutations lead to disease. Previous research in the genetic causes of bone disorders such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and skeletal dysplasias with a view to gaining insights into their underlying molecular mechanisms, and to use the knowledge gained to investigate potentially novel therapies.
