About Chris Essingholt

My name is Chris Essingholt, and I am 28 years old. For about 8 years, I have been running my own company, which focuses on e-Commerce of screen protectors, cleaning chemicals, and other products. Since its foundation, I have expanded the company to being VAT registered in more than 7 EU countries. Accordingly, I have gained tremendous experience in being an entrepreneur and what challenges companies face. Due to this experience, I also realized the chance of partly teaching a course at my masters university CBS called “Entrepreneurship,” where I have effectively shared my knowledge with other students. Due to my ambitions, I managed to graduate as the top student of the graduation year 2022. After having written my master thesis about blockchain technology in the battery life cycle of electric vehicles, I started working for Accenture. In Accenture, I have been working in Technology Strategy & Advisory to expand my technological know-how and combine it with my profound economic and strategic skills. Most notably, my team at Accenture received the sustainability award by Wirtschaftswoche in 2023 for our work on the project „Catena-X“. Currently, I am working for Inverto, a BCG company. At Inverto, I am focusing on procurement and supply chain topics which hold a tremendous value for companies, especially during todays VUCA environment.
