L9 NVQ Degree qualified Engineer worked in the Tool making, Maintenance, Production, Engineering and Management with thirty years experience. •Twelve of those years working in the Tool making discipline in both contract and in house Tool room's working with the most up to date technology i.e. Cnc, Nc, edm, and cmm to produce high end Injection molds, blow molds, custom made parts, refurbishment and maintenance of both hot and cold runner injection molds. Nine years was working in Healthcare manufacturing as a Manufacturing Technologist working in mix complexes and Clean room environment area's on fully automated Equipment and Robotic's, with high end pneumatics, hydraulics, plc's, asi/net bus and vision systems ensuring that equipment and personal meet targets whilst keeping a keen focus on quality. I was also heavily involved in the critical Precision Tooling. worked part time as a stand in teacher at second level education for the VEC in Engineering _metalwork, building construction_woodwork and Technical graphics. In 2007 I developed and administrated the Sligo wood-turning website and was appointed journalist for Irish Woodturning Guild and was also PRO for the Sligo Woodturning chapter. I was featured in an article in an international woodturning magazine. Worked on occasion with the Eltb helping developing the skills of members of Mens sheds. From Aug 2012 until May 2015 I worked with Tente Ltd. As a Manufacturing Engineer and plant Health and safety officer with the responsibility for plant efficiencies, machine monitoring systems, Production monitoring systems, part piece weights ensuring that plant, production personal and equipment meet targets, Injection moulding tooling and Health & Safety. In May 2015 to present working as the plant Production Manager and in 2020 Global Production Manager responsible for ensuring that the company order schedule is on target, recruitment of new employees, Allocated and prioritize work to up to approx. 75 staff.
