About Chris Farley

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in private practice in Montgomery County, MD. I am trained in a type of cognitive therapy called Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy or REBT and am one of only a handful of clinicians leading therapeutic Dungeons & Dragons group for teens and adults in the DC Metro area. In 2005, I completed a Primary Practicum in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City. I have previously worked as a mental health professional at the Affiliated Sante Group in Silver Spring, Edgemeade Residential Treatment Center in Upper Marlboro, MD and was the first Family Intervention Specialist at the Department of Juvenile Services in Hagerstown, MD. Prior to completing my masters degree, I worked at CSAAC in Rockville, MD helping as a direct care staff person serving both adults and adolescents with Autism.
