About Chris Fitch

With a strong background in IT project management and technical expertise, I have led large-scale IT infrastructure projects across the U.S. Most recently, as a Project Manager at Bailiwick, I managed renovations for Dollar Tree Stores and Family Dollar, overseeing the relocation of registers, networks, paging systems, phones, CCTV, POS systems, and network racks. I led weekly meetings with corporate leadership, provided daily reports directly to their VP, and coordinated construction meetings with General Contractors, corporate contacts, and internal teams. My role covered change orders, deliverable approvals, scope updates, training, scheduling assistance, billing (customer invoicing & technician approvals), and issue resolution, all while ensuring we met the customer’s quality assurance standards. Previously, I ran Fitch Technical Services, managing IT and low-voltage infrastructure projects, including New Store Openings (NSOs) and upgrades. I installed and configured menu boards, drive-thru equipment (headsets, loops, timers), and full POS & network setups. This required both hands-on technical work and contractor coordination to meet store requirements. I have worked in hundreds of retail locations across all lower 48 states, leading installations, network upgrades, and full system overhauls. My hands-on experience includes POS installation, testing, troubleshooting, and multi-site operations management. Earlier in my career, I was a certified Kyocera Mita copy machine technician at CBI Copy Products, servicing Eastern Michigan. I also worked in computer repair at stores offering hardware and software services, specializing in component-level motherboard repair. I was one of the few in Michigan providing advanced repairs like blown capacitor replacement, power jack repair, and micro-soldering circuit traces. My leadership skills developed early—I was promoted to foreman within two weeks at my first construction job at 17, where I managed teams on-site. Shortly after, I expanded my leadership experience in a fast-paced environment as a Shift Manager at McDonald’s at 18, further developing my ability to oversee operations and coordinate teams.
