About Chris Flint

I am positioned as Remote Command Centre Manager at Elekta, Crawley. In this role I am leading a Global Team in order to transition data into value, predominantly in the way of Predictive and Preventative Maintenance for all Elekta Products, where we are most mature with Linear Accelerators. Without the team in position, data would just be data. Instead the data has value in three crucial areas. Most importantly in Clinical Downtime Hour avoidance for our customers, and as a business benefits include both reduce labour hours and reduction in spare parts cost. I have produced multiple Use Cases with clear business benefit, of which I am listed as Inventor of three published patents with several others pending. My exposure to data has led me to be a leader in QlikSense Development both in scripting and visualisations where I have held company wide demonstrations of how to use the applications and the value within. I am also involved in Service Sales, generating and delivering content for Customer facing negotiations as well as delivering the content back within the Business. Within this role I have held Remote Service workshops around the world, generated training content, delivered presentations at conferences and am the Global go-to guy for Service insights at Elekta. I have been employed by Elekta since leaving school at 16 where I have worked across the business, I spent most of my time in Manufacturing. From the various stage builds, individual component builds and finally Systems Test where I spent 7 years setting up, testing and accepting over 600 Linear Accelerators including the first Linac Manufactured in China. I have had exposure to our customers through Installations, I completed 25 Phase 2 Installations around the world in challenging circumstances, always maintaining a very good relationship with the customer during the acceptance period, where all projects were completed well ahead of schedule. This background knowledge had proven invaluable and made me very successful in the position I am in today.
