About Chris Fox

Chris Fox has been actively involved in the commercial real estate business since 1992. Chris joined Cushman & Wakefield of Missouri, Inc. in 1998 and was elevated to Managing Director in 2004. In 2005, Chris played an instrumental role in the creation of Gateway Commercial, which resulted from the combination of Cushman & Wakefield of Missouri, Inc. and St. Louis-based Summit Realty Group where he served as a Partner and Managing Director. Gateway operated as an independently owned firm and member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance. While at Gateway, Chris also served on the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance executive committee. Chris joined Gershman Commercial Real Estate in 2013 as the Executive Vice President of Transactions and Advisory Services. He was elevated to President and CEO in 2019. In 2022 he led the acquisition of the company from the Gershman family and now serves as the firms Managing Partner, leading business development initiatives across all service lines and overseeing the firms brokerage, transaction and advisory services business. He also assists investor clients with property valuations, strategic dispositions and acquisitions. Chris has a wide range of experience, including professionally managing over 2.5 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space in the St. Louis market. His background also includes lease negotiation and advisory services for both tenant and landlord representation as well as investment sales of both single commercial properties and portfolio’s exceeding square feet. At Gershman, he was actively involved in the acquisition of over $172 million of investment property and the disposition of $69 million.
