About Chris Fox

Here's a short bio: Chris Fox moved from the USA to South Australia in 2005. He received his undergraduate education at Harvard University and pursued technical studies at Alfred State University (NY) and TAFE in South Australia. Chris has been an architectural/structural drafter for nearly 25 years, and maintains a design practice from his home office. He was a long time member and president of the Rochester (NY) Area Autodesk Users Group, and wrote many articles on AutoCAD and Revit for publications of the Autodesk Users Group International (AUGI). Chris has been teaching design software classes since He taught AutoCAD at Rochester Institute of Technology and developed and led reseller-based corporate training classes in AutoCAD and Revit products at Autodesk Training Centers in New York. Chris has been a Subject Matter Expert in Revit for Autodesk, and has produced Autodesk Design Academy curricula, Autodesk Official Training Courseware and Autodesk Certification Examinations for Revit Architecture and Revit Structure. Chris authored the first book on Revit released worldwide, Introducing and Implementing Revit, and has worked as technical editor for other Revit authors. He has produced hundreds of instructional videos on Revit Architecture and Revit Structure for CADLearning. In Australia, Chris leads classes and conducts in-office tutoring at all levels-essentials, intermediate, advanced-for Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks, and facilitates corporate Revit implementation projects across the country as a contracted trainer for A2K Technologies.
