About Chris Garvin

If you're looking for a people-focused, principle-centered, leadership-minded, creative, collaborative, professional-but-warm team member who drives improvement, produces impeccable work and helps people become the best version of themselves - well, that's who I strive to be every single day. In 2023 I fell into my first "official" Learning & Development role; but I quickly realized that I've been doing versions of People Leadership and L&D since I was in college. Curriculum creation. Developing new leaders and enhancing the leadership skills of current managers. Synthesizing and reproducing complex information into usable content. Building trust and collaborating with leaders and team members across departments and at all levels of the organization. Developing, facilitating and implementing training programs, both time-specific and evergreen. Focusing on learning and retention. Process development, analysis and refinement. 1-on-1 coaching and mentoring. Mediation and internal alignment. Writing educational content. L&D is just what I do!
