About Chris Glaser

Chris Glaser has been in the Environmental & Engineering Consulting industry since June of 2011 and has performed hundreds of field assignments over the course of his career. Starting out at Leidos, Chris made a name for himself in the industry with continued perseverance and ever increasing skill sets. His willingness to learn hands on techniques provided further knowledge along side his can-do attitude. Chris worked with numerous large scale clients including McGuire AFB to assist with remedial investigation reports which entailed field sample collections on a tremendous scale. Over the nearly three years with Leidos, Chris served as head sample collection/manager, lab coordinator, lead GPS field technician and field manager. In July of 2014, Chris had started work at Hillmann Consulting in Union NJ where he quickly acclimatized himself into the geology department with soil and groundwater collection along with UST tank abandonment, closure & extraction techniques. Furthermore, he cross-trained with the other departments including Due Diligence (Phase I), Industrial Hygiene, and the Asbestos Sampling Department. After a year sabbatical to travel NZ and the US, Chris acquired a position at ECS in their York office performing Geotechnical/Civil Eng. assessments for clients in the greater central Pennsylvania region. Tasks included soil sampling & classification with hands on lab analysis as well as groundwater percolation testing and Karst-related sinkhole investigations and remediation. Following his work with ECS, Chris made the transfer to AWK Engineers. At this employer, he has honed his geotechnical inspector skills working on PennDOT Bridge and Roadway revitalization projects as well as performing structural inspections. From 2020 to early 2022, Chris assumed the role of Project Manager for Earth Engineering Inc where he worked to direct field teams and operations as well as provide decision making calls for small to large construction, inspection and investigation projects. As of 2022, Chris is working for Skelly & Loy (A Terracon Company) as an environmental Scientist/Specialist in the investigations and due diligence department. His role is supplemented into other groups within this varied firm located in Harrisburg PA
