About Chris Grillo

I'm a "let's roll up our sleeves and figure this out" type of guy. A city dweller who loves to read and travel in search of new adventures. I grew up in the Twin Cities metro, graduated from St. Cloud State University with B.A. in Political Science and Minor in English Literature, and currently live in New York City. I believe that the strongest organizations are those in which employees feel connected — to each other and their work. In 2013, I had the wonderful opportunity to join eight others in building a non-profit startup. Our mission was to close the digital divide for individuals and families in need. Over the next decade, I was promoted into several key leadership positions and played a pivotal role in its national expansion and growth to 250+ employees. My roles were crafted for new, unestablished areas of potential growth with the purpose to expand our scope, cultivate process efficiency, and minimize future risk within the new programs. These programs included centralizing full-scale operations, spearheading an online sales platform, creating a digital training website, negotiating contracts, preparing and supporting new facilities nationwide, preparing facilities for audits, national DOT compliance, and managing local and remote teams. You will find that I am self-driven, highly adaptable, and detail-oriented. I love digging into problems, breaking them down, and solving them at the source. My colleagues would tell you that I'm best known for improving organizational efficiencies, mentoring, time management, and fueling growth.
