With a focus on Don Berwick's original Triple Aim in Healthcare, the DMSG focuses on arranging for guest speakers to talk to our group about developing strategic plans to meet the challenges of healthcare reform over the next decade. With more emphasis on improved quality of care and reducing costs along with changing methods of payment for healthcare services from "fee for service"​ to "quality based reimbursement"​, the DMSG is interested in getting speakers who have focused on implementing good healthcare reform strategies in their organization. As founder of the Denver Medical Study Group, a Colorado corporation orignally founded in October, 2008, our interest is to become more informed on the changes occurring in healthcare nationally will give better insight for strategizing how to implement sound healthcare reform ideas here in Colorado. Meetings are every other month with purpose of "bringing together professional disciplines who have a significant base of physician clients to meet on a periodic basis to discuss current healthcare reform issues related to the business operation of medical practices in the Denver area". Nationally known speakers include CEO, Billings Clinic, CEO of Chicago based HFMA, CEO of COPIC, CEO of MGMA among others. Background includes healthcare banking specialist, providing banking services to the healthcare industry including physicians, dentists and other healthcare professionals. Products and services include medical office building financing, practice purchase and expansion loans, working capital lines of credit, equipment financing and treasury management services.
