About Chris Hallowes

I am an extremely motivated developer with 10 years experience in C#.Net development with SQL Server and accompanying web languages (JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS).In my current position I am part of a very small but effective full-stack team working on the Saasu online accounting product. This included, for me, heading up a QA team in 2016 in addition to my dev work - something a bit unusual for a developer, but nonetheless a way to gain valuable insite into maximising customer experience and inter-team communication.I have a genuine passion for software development and love learning and constantly educating myself, as evidenced by my past university results (High Distinction average and sole student to graduate ‘with merit’). I keep an online ‘Pluralsight’ account active and continually read to stay on top of new advancements and differing ideologies relating to my career. For me, excellent software is all about the user experience, it has to address their needs and even exceed their expectations. I consider communication to be my greatest strength as an employee. I relate to others without the presumption of prior knowledge and am transparent when sharing ideas within a team. I have had a large degree of interaction with clients in my career so far, often in face to face weekly meetings. I am a personable guy, friendly and thrive in a team environment.
