I started as a driver for a contractor for 2 years before purchasing my own route and becoming a contractor myself under the company name Harding Transportation, LLC. Later I added another route. In 2010 I sold both routes. The buyer hired me to continue to drive one of the routes. In 2012 I resigned to begin developing a craft business. In 2013 I returned to work at FedEx Ground for a different contractor and currently work part-time as a "floater," filling in when other drivers take a day off or go on vacation.
