About Chris Hart

Chris came to West Michigan from New Jersey to attend Hope College. He fell in love with West Michigan, began his career in the Hospitality Business while working for his mentor, Dick Den Uyl, at the Hatch and Point West Restaurants’, eventually becoming the Director of Operations. During his career Chris has worked for national, regional and individual operations in management and executive positions throughout the United States. Chris’ love for West Michigan most recently brought him back to Holland as the General Manager and Operating Partner for the very successful Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant, a high volume waterfront operation on Lake Macatawa in Holland. After decades in the Hospitality business Chris has learned the importance of delivering the best in attentive, detailed and caring customer service. Working for the Andrea Crossman Group/ Coldwell Banker Woodland Schmidt for the next 5 years allowed him to develop a keen taste of what separates an Elite Realtor from the rest and is always going above and beyond for his sellers and buyers. His goal is to ensure a seamless experience for his clients, always being there to aid in the process and being proactive to eliminate any pitfalls. Traveling between Manistee and St. Joe, Chris has been blessed to have had such great success thus far. He is most proud that many of his clients he has worked with, have evolved to only only being great references but also in becoming great friends. Chris' background led him to be a Board Member for the Holland Civic Center Place in aiding to develop the business plan for the center. After a successful opening the Management Company, Venuworks, offered the Executive Director Position to Chris, which he accepted in November of 2019 and is still operating this great venue. When Chris isn't consumed in work, he is a firm believer in engulfing his talents in the fiber of his community. Some of those positions included: Board of Director Tulip Time, Board of Director for the Civic Center. Advisory Board of the Careerline Tech Center Culinary Program, Adjunct professor at Grand Valley. Playtime for Chris involves spending time with his wonderful family and his enjoyment of boating and golfing on our gorgeous area lakes and courses.
