About Chris Hayes

I was born in Old Town Alexandria and am an Alexandrian through and through. My childhood memories were made on the ball fields and courts around town playing games and sports, both organized and just with friends. I continue to live on the fields and courts of Alexandria, coaching my son's youth soccer and basketball teams. I live just over a half mile from the house where I grew up, in the Rosemont section of Alexandria. My inter-city move of the half mile as the crow flies took me across the country and back. I went to college in Bethany WV, and then on to graduate school at Indiana University. While my corporate work career began in Arlington, VA, other opportunities took me to Hermosa Beach, CA, and Chicago, IL. Upon returning to Alexandria, I worked the corporate world for a few more years before embarking on my real estate career 21 years ago. I have a passion for my hometown and I'm committed to helping others who share that feeling. I work closely with my clients through the entire sales process to ensure a smooth, successful transaction. I will take on fixing up a house in need of some work when preparing a listing for the market. I do everything from getting painters lined up, to doing a major rehab of the kitchen and baths. I believe it is important to be hands-on through the process to give clients the expertise I have worked so hard to achieve over the years. I enjoy helping people in every way possible.
