About Chris Henle

I received my PhD in industrial-organizational psychology from Colorado State University. One of my main research areas is counterproductive work behaviors including workplace ostracism, abusive supervision, resume fraud, and cyberloafing. My second research area is employment discrimination against individuals who are caregivers, have body art, or were formally incarcerated. My research has been published in journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Business Ethics. I currently teach human resource management courses and have received the CSU Alumni Best Teacher Award. I have my SHPR and SHRM-SCP certifications and I am an advisor of the CSU student SHRM chapter. I have also worked as a recruiter and job analyst and I do HR consulting for small businesses. I serve on the editorial board for three journals and have held various committee positions with the Academy of Management, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Southern Management Association. In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, skiing, playing volleyball, and reading.
