About Chris Henry

With over 20 years of experience in designing, estimating, and implementing commercial security solutions, I bring a strong technical background in CCTV and access control systems, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Science. I am driven by a passion for solving complex problems through innovative technology and continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. My initiative, creativity, diverse skill set, and commitment to quality are highly valued by managers, colleagues, and clients alike. I began my career in the security industry as a commissioning technician at the integrator level, where I developed and expanded my technical expertise over several years. Transitioning into estimating and design, I leveraged my problem-solving abilities and creative thinking to develop optimal security solutions tailored to client needs. This role allowed me to cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients while contributing to the development of innovative security solutions for government agencies, universities, mining companies, and other large organizations. My career path eventually led me to AECOM, where I currently collaborate with a talented team of engineers on a diverse portfolio of projects. Working for a global engineering and consulting firm has provided invaluable opportunities to engage in large-scale projects locally, nationally, and internationally, broadening my professional experience and exposing me to new challenges and cutting-edge advancements in the industry.
