I am a keen motorcyclist, covering up to 25k miles per annum, both professionally and for leisure. I was a police motorcyclist for many years and an active member of RoSPA in an examiners role for both cars and bikes. I have a passion for photography and try to get out snapping at least once a week. I have a very supportive wife and teenage son who indulge my various interests, from marshalling cycle races to attending motorsport events or touring Europe on the motorcycle. Having spent 30 years as a police officer, over half of them as a supervisor I have a very wide base of numerous subjects and now I am free of the restrictions of the service I am enjoying trying as many varied roles as possible, seeing that there is a big world out here! Always keen for a new challenge, to explore new experiences. February 2015, I qualified as a PCV Category D driver and attained my Certificate of Professional Competency.
