About Chris Howe

I've failed more times growing businesses than I've succeeded. I didn't know what I was doing, and I was addicted to doing things so I could feel like I was making progress. I would throw myself at problems until the end of a day or until my energy ran out, or both. It often looked good on the outside, but we were flailing on the inside. My teams were inspired by the vision and working hard on their individual projects, but rarely did we have a shared feeling of real progress. Hitting a made up milestone led to a high five and then another milestone being set. Boy was I happy when I learned there was a system for this stuff. Working at an Edtech Startup (now AdmissionPrep), my CEO introduced me to a system (Entrepreneurial Operating System) which I rolled out within our company. They brought clarity, accountability, and REAL progress to us. I was hooked. I loved the principles and integrated them fully into that business, and in every new business I jumped into. Since starting this journey I've read and applied a few dozen different business books and multiple business systems while growing several businesses, and I realized how much I love this specific aspect of business. In 2023 I joined a group of folks who do this work full time. I love being alongside leaders who are growing their businesses and themselves, and I can't imagine doing anything else. My passion is for CEO's and leadership teams to help them get clear on who they are, where they're going, and how they're going to get there. It's often called strategic planning and executive coaching, but in practice it means you have a sidekick for your growth journey, whatever the obstacle may be.
