I have over thirty five years General Management, Business Development, Marketing and Sales leadership experience gained within OTC, Prescription Medicines, Medical Diagnostics, Medical Devices & FMCG business environments within the UK and internationally. As a successful professional, customer & commercially orientated senior leader, I have excellent leadership, motivational, communication, project & change management skills. I have a proven and varied track record in the creation and successful delivery of business strategies & plans for organisations. Well versed in internal and external stakeholder management, KOL management, mentoring, public affairs as well as managing budgets and being accountable for overall P&L's. Experienced in successfully leading diverse, multicultural and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategic plans and deliver the business goals. Completed an MBA in 1992, strengthening marketing, business strategy & financial skills. Board Member since 2019 of the Association British Healthtech Industries (ABHI )association. Previously board member for the In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA) Executive Board and was for 3.5 years Industry representative on NICE Medical Technologies Advisory Committee (MTAC) ending March 2021. Member of the HTP (HealthTechnology Partnership board) since 2020, Co-Chair of the LSC (Life Sciences Council) HealthData Industry sub group, Medtech Industry member of the NIHR HRC (HealthTech Research Centres) committee and Industry member of the RRG (Cinical Research Recovery, Resilience and Growth Oversight Group since 2021.
