About Chris Jacobs

I am a student at the University of Michigan. I study Psychology and Linguistics and am mainly interested in Language Acquisition and Multilingualism. I am passionate about language, linguistics, language learning, and bettering all of my skills in general. I am always ready to learn, collaborate, and explore, as well as lead, teach, and inspire. I have been working in and out of management for the past 5 years. I have also been working intimately with experimental linguistic research and have worked in a number of environments made to support the transference of linguistic and cultural information: talk circles for newly immigrating people, research on linguistic marginalization and minority languages in the media, research on creole linguistics. I have also been a ELA, math, and Language (English, French, and Spanish) tutor for 7 years.
