About Chris Jensen

As the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer of NXP Semiconductors, I am responsible for all aspects of our global human resources function, driving our people strategy, and fostering an inclusive culture to achieve NXP’s business objectives. I joined NXP in 2015 following the merger with Freescale and played a key role in the cultural integration of the two companies. With extensive experience in leading various human resources functions, I specialize in change management, compensation and benefits design, and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Freescale, I held executive human resources positions at Applied Materials and Tandem Computers. Additionally, I serve as an adjunct professor at Baylor University, teaching in their Executive MBA Program. Education I earned my Bachelor of Science in organizational behavior from the University of San Francisco and graduated Beta Gamma Sigma with my MBA from Baylor University. Board Appointments I am proud to serve on the board of Wonders & Worries, which provides children and teens free professional support during a parent’s serious illness. Interests/Hobbies Outside of my corporate roles, I have been an adjunct professor in the Executive MBA Program at Baylor University since 2007. I am also an avid scuba diver, enjoying this activity with my son and daughter.
