I am a results proven professional whose contributions include: Apple -Co-Lead AppleCare division plan to start the Apple retail store concept. Highlights encompass: o Collaborated with executive management, sales, procurement, operations, third party logistics carriers and repair depots to develop a customer focused strategy for which products could be either repaired on-site or shipped to a repair depot o I developed a pricing matrix which focused on 4 levels of repair from minor to catastrophic based on historical results o Helped to coin the phrase “Genius Bar" which is still in use today. Adidas - Contributions include: o Lead SAP team as the marketing user for operational and financial reporting. Partnered with HQ to develop a reporting structure which encompassed all marketing activities by type of sport, University, athlete and coach. o Volunteered and Served as interim Sales Controller. Trained new hire on SAP, internal sales reporting, financial approval authorities, sales programs and markdown processes. o Leveraged relationship with Federal Express twofold; first by reducing the volume of first overnight deliveries saving at least $100K monthly and secondly streamlining the process where sales representatives would use samples. This reduced the number of samples needed by over 200 and reduced freight expense by more than $1M in the first year. CNN International. Highlights are: o Lead cross-functional team to build processes around international breaking news events. This included working on a global basis with: operations, editorial, legal, talent (news anchors and correspondents) to develop a robust strategy to be first on air. o Implemented a strategy whereby many news bureaus covering the Baghdad war would be housed in the CNN Baghdad compound. The compound became income to CNN International. o I partnered with HR and IT to develop an operational reporting system for the international employees who were based in more than 40 news bureaus.
