About Chris Kent

Chris Kent was the owner of Christopher A. Kent, P.A, a solo real estate consulting practice widely recognized for mindful and effective approaches to originating, shaping and marketing communities and specialty developments, nationally and internationally. Kent’s ability to create, interpret and present engaging places was recognized on a larger stage as he personally managed real estate marketing and sales for the celebrated Town of Seaside, Florida from 1984 until primary residential sellout in 1996. He maintained significant consulting relationships with Seaside companies that continue to the present time. The town's planning, architecture, execution and sense of community received national and international acclaim and it is considered a prototype for Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) and New Urbanism (NU). Kent's placemaking, presentation and operational skills were further refined and proven in over 100 additional venues and initiatives to which he has contributed during the past 29 years. These contributions helped create places that are authentic, compelling, profitable and fun. The firm addressed an extensive and diverse collection of real estate, specialty venues and other initiatives.
