About Chris Klein

I love working on collaborative projects and connecting with new people. I also love working with diverse student populations, traveling, and finding ways to connect students of all backgrounds to new opportunities that will expand their horizons and help them get on track to becoming global citizens. Going abroad three times during my undergraduate career opened my eyes to the numerous possibilities available to me and others, which led to my goal of becoming an outstanding student affairs professional. I am a student-centered professional, educated at BGSU in a theory-to-practice approach that serves as the foundation of my work.My background spans career development, multicultural affairs, and international education with a touch of student leadership development. This diverse mix helps me see problems from multiple angles and be adaptable enough to lead teams and be a contributing member. I love being a higher education administrator, because I get to have an impact on today's young leaders who will usher in a new era of international collaboration.One of my favorite quotes that best reflects that my passion and perspective on experiential education is one from Benjamin Franklin:"Tell me and I forget.
