About Chris Landers

I started my career not in finance, but in uniform. As an Infantry Team Leader in the U.S. Army, I learned the value of discipline, accountability, and leading from the front. When I transitioned to civilian life, I carried those lessons into a new mission: helping people navigate some of the biggest financial decisions they'll ever make. Today, I'm a finance professional with 7+ years of experience in residential real estate and small business financing. At Perk Lending, I lead an incredible team of loan officers that turns the dream of homeownership into reality every day. We combine strategic financial planning and an empathetic approach to deliver the highest-quality client experiences possible. I'm at my best when solving tough problems, improving processes, and mentoring others. Whether I'm actively working with clients or streamlining how our team moves loans across the finish line, I focus on finding better ways to do things and helping others do the same. I'm preparing for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam as part of my commitment to continued professional development and improving how I lead cross-functional teams in structured, high impact projects. Earning the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is the next step on that path. Currently based in Chicago, IL, I'm relocating to Atlanta, GA in September, 2025 and am always open to connecting with others who value servant leadership and operational excellence.
