About Chris Lapointe

I am a dedicated and empathetic family lawyer who has specialised in this field since 2012. I have completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Family Law and Applied Finance. I have worked in my own businesses over past 25 years (finance and customer service industries) and have a thorough understanding of complex business structures and financial analysis. I have 2 beautiful teenage daughters 16 and 18 and am in a shared parenting arrangement with my Ex wife since 2010 so understand the intricacy and delicacy surrounding parenting disputes. I enjoy the family law industry, am empathetic to my clients and always strive to obtain the best outcome for them after considering all elements of a family law separation. I started my own Family Law Practice in February 2019 with an innovative new approach which I believe is long overdue. All aspects of the the Family Law experience both legal and personal have been considered resulting in a truly unique family law offering. I work in collaboration with wellness practitioners and allow my family law clients access to subsidised counselling and wellness services we all need during separation. I also operate in a paperless office, use innovative legal practice technology, and cater to the needs of my clients by visiting their home or workplace if required. My approach is truly unique and based purely on caring and fulfilling my clients emotional, financial and legal needs.
