About Chris Lauth

Over the past five years, I have led and delivered on Program management processes with Greenpeace USA. I have onboarded dozens of new staff members, trained more than a hundred people on program management software (Asana), managed millions of dollars of budget with Program budget holders, and led in-person campaign activities throughout the Bay Area. Before my time in Program Operations, I successfully led canvass teams to hit high-performance standards, as well as individually performing as a top canvasser in the country at the city manager level for more than five years. I trained hundreds of canvassers, dozens of field managers, and a handful of city managers. I also led fundraising trips across Northern California, to Minneapolis/ St Paul, and even a week in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil that delivered top-notch fundraising results and ROI. I also have experience in wilderness tripping and outdoor education, with almost a year in the field. I led trips that ranged from week-long canoe trips in the BWCAW of Northern Minnesota to six-week excursions in the Brooks Range of Northern Alaska with adolescents. I also led staff training and de-briefed newer staff on best practices for wilderness guiding. My work is tied together with a love for the people and the planet, a desire to treat others with kindness and generosity, and to leave the world and others better than when I found them. I believe in a democratic society where everyone's needs are met and we find joy and love. May it be so!
