I started working in insurance claims because I like cars. I stayed for many of the same reasons I enjoyed being a hockey referee. Like a good ref, I look at an insurance claim situation and see how the rules should apply. I know what the insurance company needs to see in order to make the call, and can help you and your team present the evidence to them clearly. I also have the discernment to understand that not every claim denial should be challenged. So I can lead you through alternative solutions to traditional insurance policies, including creating a captive insurance company, using data to understand areas of loss or leakage you might have been simply writing off before, and mitigation techniques to help prevent the loss from occurring or reducing the impact when it does.
