While there, I learned how to strategically hire and retain the right technical staff, cultivate an "Open Door" management style where team members could approach me with any questions or concerns, and role-model superior customer service by emphasizing the importance of maintaining regular contact - from ticket request initiation to resolution and post-request fulfillment. I spent the balance of my career at a global eBingo and eGaming solutions provider where customer service excellence dominates. As an IT Project Manager offering full project lifecycle experience as a hands-on technician, consultant, and manager of large-scale IT projects, I consistently produced top-quality deliverables - and on many occasions "owned the stress" in a pressure-cooker environment - so that projects were completed on schedule and on budget. My passion is keeping current on leading-edge and emerging technologies so that operations can function at peak capacity, the C Suite is informed regarding the technical aspects of business, and the company benefits from a heightened level of competitive market standing. Of paramount importance to me is adhering to strong internal controls so that I can maintain/monitor service and support contractual obligations/SLA's for such regulatory bodies as Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC), B.C. Lottery Corporation (BCLC), Ontario Lottery & Gaming (OLG), and others in the U.S. to earn my clients' loyalty and invite their repeat business. At this point in my career, I wish to join an organization where I can partner with clients to identify their business requirements and translate them into meaningful 21st Century IT functionality.
