About Chris Lehman

Originally from Jennings, LA; enlisted in the Louisiana Army National Guard and later enlisted in the US Navy and retired after 21 years of service. I hold Professional Level Certifications in Acquisitions, Program Management and Career Counseling. Additionally, while in the Navy I worked as an Engineer serving on both Ships and Nuclear Submarines and earned a Bachelor of Science from Excelsior College, Albany New, York. While in Government service, I was promoted to Grade GS-15 as a Logistics Director at “Naval Sea Systems Command” Washington Navy Yard, Washington DC. My key roles during that 10 year span: Logistician, Business Case Analysis Department Lead, Project Manager, and Director. A Key Program member; directly responsible for funding, management and Defense of Projects exceeding 1 ½ Billon Dollars at times. Currently, I remain on Staff as a Program Manager for Alion Science Corporation, Washington DC; specifically supporting the Acquisition, Modernization, Repair and Lifecycle support of Navy Ships, Crafts and Submarines World-Wide as required. Lehman Speed Enterprises, LLC supports my personal hobby and business for 1-off type vehicle restorations (done in my own home garage) and vehicle consulting, regarding specialty vehicles for those that need help with their own projects.
