I am a Squamish Nation citizen with a career goal to work hard and live a long healthy life in a career focused around closing the socio-economic gap for First Nations through strong governance structures, sustainable development and First Nations economies. In 2009, after five years of working at the national and provincial level for the Assembly of First Nations, I was elected to my first four-year term as a member of the Squamish Nation Chiefs and Council. Throughout my studies and work experience, I have gained extensive domestic and international knowledge in Geography and first hand experience with First Nations issues and the political environment. I have completed my Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geography and First Nations studies from Simon Fraser University.
