About Chris Liles

Throughout my tenure with Safeway/Albertsons, I have had the privilege to work in various capacities, starting from a Maintenance Support Specialist to my current role as a Refrigeration Compliance Specialist. In both positions, I have gained invaluable experience and have grown both personally and professionally. As a Maintenance Support Specialist, I was responsible for determining preventative maintenance needs for over stores across multiple states. This role taught me the importance of attention to detail and organization, as I had to keep track of various schedules and deadlines. I also learned about contract guidelines and vender compliance in commercial applications, which has been invaluable in my current role. In my current role as a Refrigeration Compliance Specialist, I have taken on more responsibility by ensuring EPA and CARB compliance across all stores in the country. This involves tracking and managing refrigerant leaks, repairs, and preventative maintenance, as well as identifying ways to decrease expenses related to contract agreements. It has also been rewarding to help our vendors stay up to date with EPA standards and with our company and industry standards. Overall, my experience at Safeway/Albertsons has taught me the importance of staying organized, paying attention to detail, and maintaining compliance in all aspects of the business. I have grown both professionally and personally, and I look forward to continuing to learn and develop in my current role.
