About Chris Liu

As a Transfer Pricing Partner at MHA in the UK, I bring over 15 years of experience in transfer pricing and international tax to help my clients navigate the complex world of cross-border transactions. My journey began at Deloitte, where I joined as a graduate in 2008 and worked my way up to Manager in the Transfer Pricing and China Services Group. In 2018, I joined FTI Consulting as a Senior Director and later became a Managing Director, where I led the Transfer Pricing team and provided expert witness services in litigation cases. My focus on transfer pricing stems from my desire to help businesses expand overseas and identify commercial and practical solutions to manage their tax strategies. I have worked with a wide range of clients, from small and medium-sized enterprises to very large multinational corporations, across various industries, including, banking, capital markets, investment management, insurance, energy and resources, life sciences and tech, media & telecom (TMT). I am particularly proud of my work with Chinese headquartered businesses, where I have leveraged my native Mandarin and Cantonese language skills and my in-depth understanding of the business culture to provide tailored tax and finance solutions. At MHA, I am committed to providing practical and commercial transfer pricing advice to help my clients manage their tax risks and achieve their business objectives. I believe in building trusted relationships with my clients, by taking the time to understand their unique needs and proposing customized solutions to help them address their challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through exercise, particularly boxing and walking my dog and I have a passion for fine wine.
