About Chris Logan

Clarity of thought goes hand-in-hand with clarity of language. I lead the team that creates Shell's global editorial content, providing quality assurance as managing editor and editor-in-chief of our executive communications and award-winning digital content. This content plays a critical and central supporting role in the execution of Shell's reputation strategy and the delivery of our business strategy. We produce CEO and other Executive Committee speeches, op-eds, narratives, and multimedia content under our title Inside Energy for publication across a range of social and digital channels. I've led the development of a major new content strategy at Shell. We also create and produce The Energy Podcast. I enjoy identifying and developing creative talent. I've built and lead one of the strongest corporate editorial teams in the world, comprising content producers for our digital channels (Shell.com and Inside Energy) and for social media; executive speechwriters and highly experienced writers and editors of our major reports. I have a proven ability to foster stronger creative skills in others: I developed a new digital writing and storytelling course for Shell communications staff which has been successfully delivered in Australia, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Singapore, the UAE and the US. I'm a former national news and features journalist, a published author and a season ticket holder at Brighton & Hove Albion.
