About Chris Lowman

Hello, my name is Chris Lowman and I am a project management professional and petroleum engineer by degree from Virginia Beach, VA. Well, that’s where I spent the most time but it’s hard to pick one spot when your dad was in the Navy growing up! Other places included Philly, Pensacola, Newport, Alameda, and Dallas/Fort Worth. I enjoy playing tennis and biking, as well as riding motorcycles, paddle boarding, and lifting to stay active. I separate myself from my peers in two key ways and I feel these are critical ways in which I can be a pivotal part of your business. The first is project management. Too often these days, projects are being delivered over cost and over budget and this cannot keep happening. It is paramount to select the correct critical path from the beginning of the project that meets all the goals to ensure success. If not all the goals can be met; it is also paramount to communicate effectively what has to change to keep the project moving forward. These things I have spent lots of time working through from experience and with training to make sure the project is successful. The second and probably equally important is critical thinking. The project risks need to be identified as early as possible to compliment the critical path. This is where a well-rounded individual like myself does not allow tunnel vision to develop and can wear several hats to identify risks from all sides of the project. Finally, I enjoy an environment that rewards hard work and encourages personal development and team building. Communication needs to be open and honest, and integrity always maintained.
