About Chris Lowther

As a Group Logistics Officer at Marine Corps Embassy Security Group (MCESG), I oversee the logistics operations and planning for 185 embassies and consulates worldwide, ensuring the security and readiness of the Marine Corps personnel and equipment. I collaborate with multiple stakeholders, such as Department of State, Department of Defense, and foreign governments, to coordinate and execute complex and sensitive missions, such as evacuations, humanitarian assistance, and crisis response. I have been serving as a Logistics Officer since 2018, after 15 years as a Motor Transport diesel mechanic/maintenance supervisor (chief) in the Marine Corps. During this time, I have developed and honed my skills in operations and logistics, leadership and mentoring, process improvement and efficiency, and analytical problem-solving. I have also participated in various domestic and international operations, such as Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Inherent Resolve, and numerous allied partner exercises in the Indo-Pacific Region. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from The Citadel, where I majored in Business Administration and Management. I am motivated by the values of honor, courage, and commitment, and I strive to serve my country and my team with excellence and integrity.
