About Chris Malone

I am a driven and passionate Graduate Engineer currently working with GE HealthCare in Cork as part of the Process Engineering Team. In this role, I contribute to capital projects and process engineering, supporting the performance and compliance of sterilisation processes and fill finish equipment. This opportunity allows me to engage in troubleshooting, equipment validation, protocol execution, project management and process optimisation — developing critical hands-on experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. GE HealthCare, as the global market leader in contrast media manufacturing for MRI and X-ray diagnostics, provides the perfect setting for me to align my professional goals with real-world impact. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University of Limerick, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Engineering at University College Cork. Balancing my academic studies with this exciting role enables me to deepen my technical expertise and gain invaluable industry experience in pharmaceutical engineering.
