I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, from The University of Tennessee at Martin in I obtained a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed a Family Medicine Residency through the University of Louisville in Glasgow, Kentucky. I achieved board certification in Family Medicine in 2009 and then Addiction Medicine in 2010 through the American Society of Addiction Medicine. I have since obtained board certification in Addiction Medicine through The American Board of Preventive Medicine. My full-time practice of medicine began with work as a Family Medicine physician at Averett Medical Group in Linden, TN then transitioned to Addiction Treatment with Behavioral Health Group in 2014. I opened my own medical practice - Medical Specialty Clinic - in Parsons, TN on June 1, 2021. Since then we have expanded to add 2 Nurse Practitioners. I now practice Integrative and Family Medicine while offering aesthetic treatments as well. We currently offer Botox(TM) treatments as well as Dermal Filler, Laser Hair Removal, and Skin Rejuvenation alongside primary care medicine. We have a focus on extending your health-span rather than just your life-span!
