As a Senior Systems Administrator with over 15 years of experience, I have successfully designed, implemented, and maintained IT infrastructure across large organizations. My expertise spans a broad range of technologies including SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Azure, Intune, Active Directory, Windows Server (2016 and newer), VMware, and HPE Nimble storage. I have a proven track record in managing virtual environments, handling security patch management, server backups, and leading incident response efforts. I am passionate about IT security and disaster recovery. In my most recent role at Carson Oil, I managed over 150 virtual servers across multiple data centers, administered DNS and DHCP services, and led high-availability environments through Windows Failover Clustering. I also played a key role in deploying Microsoft Teams phone systems and implementing advanced identity and access management strategies using Active Directory and Entra ID. My focus on optimization and security has resulted in a 40% reduction in system downtime and a significant boost in operational efficiency. I’m known for my proactive approach to systems management, leading IT projects from concept to completion, mentoring junior staff, and implementing streamlined solutions to complex technical challenges. My recent achievements include spearheading remediation efforts following a cyber attack in the fall of 2023 and implementing security measures using Sentinel One and Rapid7.
