I am Currently working at Caterpillar Marine Power UK Ltd. As a material planner and operation scheduler, I am able to maintaining positive relationship with suppliers through regular delivery and performance reports, and ensuring lead times and stock value are kept updated. I have experience working in a supply chain environment translating business requirements into functional solutions. I enjoy the diversity my role offers me, liaising with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers to achieve a positive end result to all parties. As an accounts professional, I have worked within a finance department responsible for accounts reconciliation in a global manufacturing company. Also, worked on multiple projects carrying out process improvements. Key skills include: analysis, decision making, reporting, designing procedures and training skills. My early experience within the Logistics Function gave me a good foundation in stock checks, goods in transit. Also, reconciling of invoices and goods receipts. Having proved myself in this role, I was encouraged to join the accounts team. Here, I had responsibility not only for posting invoices within the general ledger accounts but also posting cost of goods sold and other tasks.
