About Chris McClellan

Tool Design – My creative personality led me to become a Designer. I started in the Tooling industry, just as paper drawings were moving to CAD. I led the charge at McKee, making surfaced and solid models to match the 2D drawings from the rest of the Design Department. I eventually became a 3D Modelling expert, moving from Steering Wheel tool design to Mercedes Product Design at Delphi to Safety and Restraints Design Engineer at Neaton Auto Products.• Design Management – I was realizing that I was capable of much more than just design. I had the personality to manage a project, testing, and keep a team moving forward. I eventually moved through the ranks to become a Manager of the Design team. Focused on streamlining the development process, I put a PLM in place to move us from paper drawings to a shared, yet protected, maturation and release process.• Business Development Management – Thinking outside of the box allowed me to win business when it was difficult.
